homage/ flattery

Daily post again has challenged my writing capabilities! To adapt a style by my favourite author or just let my inspiration for the post be whatever he writes about.

Being from the gym this precise moment, only one thing comes to mind: the slight edge! A book in which the author; Jeff Olson,  accords that the difference between the winners and quiters is one thing only- the slight edge. He says it takes as much effort to do something as it does to decide not to do it.

I could have easily put off going to the aerobics class as I have done for the past years and the world would still be the same.  I chose to just go and true,my Earth is still not changed and moved to Mars.

I do not feel like I have won the lottery but am instead tending to my aching body. But I am inspired by the knowledge that momentum build, multiplies recuring rewards or results.

The consistancy in the yeses I make to the “am I going to the gym” question, yeilds a habit I desire to live by; exercising. A discipline that surely sires great  health as proffered by Cris Slentz, an exercise psychologist.

My body is the one part of me I am stark with and naturing it to make it endure beyond my wildest dreams lies on me. It is the first best way anyone can show affirmation for self love.
